Iwai Auto is a family-operated business based in Chiba, Japan, specializing in sourcing Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicles, parts, and kits. With direct access to auctions, dealers, and supplier networks across Japan, we focus on quality, transparency, and reliable service.
Our Approach
We operate with an in-house garage and experienced JDM mecvhanics who inspect and prepare vehicles before delivery or export. This allows us to maintain control over quality and ensure each vehicle meets realistic expectations
We work with two primary types of customers. For U.S. military personnel stationed in Japan, we assist with sourcing, inspection, and local paperwork so vehicles can be driven legally off base with minimal hassel. For international buyers, we source vehicles in Japan and coordinate the export process to their destination country.
Our approach is simple: honest communication, careful selection, and reliable execution from start to finish. What sets us apart is our on-the-ground presence in Japan, allowing us to operate directly rather than through third parties. With an in-house garage and experienced JDM mechanics, we are able to inspect, prepare, and handle vehicles to a high standard before delivery and export.
We maintain direct access to Japanese auctions and trusted suppliers, giving our clients better selection and transparency.
